Our Story

From two teenagers meeting in a pub to building a life, a home, and a family together · every chapter of our story has been shared side by side.

2012
2012

We First Met

We first met in April 2012 at the Brookhouse pub. Jess was 16 and Will was 17. What began as a simple meeting quickly grew into a friendship built on laughter, ease, and a connection neither of us could have planned, but both of us felt from the very beginning.

At the time, we had no idea just how important that moment would become.

2014
2014

The True Beginning

By 2014, we were best friends and spending so much time together. From the day Will met Jess, he knew he loved her—and he never stopped telling her. For a long time, those feelings quietly grew between us, deepening with every moment shared, every conversation, and every memory made.

On 30 May 2014, Jess finally admitted she felt the same.

In that moment, everything changed. What had always been there between us was finally spoken aloud, turning unspoken love into something real, shared, and unbreakable—the true beginning of our life as a couple.

2015

Our First Home

In 2015, we moved into our first flat together. It wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. It marked the beginning of building a life side by side—learning, growing, and creating our first real home as a couple, filled with love and all the small moments that meant everything.

2016
2016

The Proposal & Ollie

On 9 December 2016, Will proposed in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It was one of the most special and meaningful days of our lives.

This date also holds deep significance as it falls on Jessica’s dad’s birthday—a day that will always carry love, memory, and connection to someone who is deeply missed and forever part of our journey.

That moment marked the promise of our forever.

On 24 December 2016, we got our pug, Ollie—our first experience of taking care of and looking after something together. Our little fur-baby quickly became such a loved part of our world and brought even more joy into our home at such a special time in our lives.

2017
2017

Our Home & Isaac

In 2017, we bought our first home together—a small, beautiful house that was perfect for us as a young family. It became the place where we truly began building our life, filled with hope, love, and everything still to come.

But above all else, 2017 will always be remembered as the year our world changed forever.

We welcomed our first baby, Isaac—and becoming parents was, without question, the best thing that has ever happened to us. Nothing could have prepared us for the moment we first held him or the overwhelming love that followed. It was instant, life-changing, and the moment everything finally made sense.

Isaac didn’t just make us parents—he changed who we are. He brought a depth of love into our lives that is unconditional, grounding, and impossible to put into words. From that moment on, everything we built was for him.

2019
2019

Aria Arrived

In 2019, we became a family of four with the arrival of Aria.

The moment she arrived, our hearts grew in a way we didn’t think was possible. She brought softness, joy, and a completely new kind of love into our lives. Watching Isaac become a big brother was one of the most beautiful things we have ever experienced—his pride, his curiosity, and the way he loved her from the very beginning.

Aria completed another piece of our world, filling our home with even more laughter, chaos, and love.

2021
2021

Family Complete

In 2021, we worked incredibly hard and achieved something deeply special—we bought Jess’s family home. We made it our own while carefully keeping the memories it already held, blending our present with its past in a way that means so much to us.

That same year, our family felt complete with the arrival of Elijah.

With him came a sense of wholeness we can’t quite describe. From the moment he arrived, it felt like he had always been part of us. Three children, each so unique, each so deeply loved, and each shaping our world in their own way.

Our home became full in every sense—of noise, laughter, chaos, and the kind of love that only grows stronger with time.

They are everything to us. Our greatest joy, our proudest achievement, and the heart of our entire story.

15 Years & “I Do”

In 2027, we will celebrate 15 years together—and this will also be the year we marry.

From two teenagers meeting in a pub to building a life, a home, a business, and a family together, every chapter of our story has been shared side by side. Along the way, we have faced some very difficult times and challenges, but through it all, we have always stood strong together and got through everything as a team.

Through every high and every low, we have grown stronger, held on tighter, and continued to choose each other—every single time.

What we have built together means everything to us. Our family, our home, and our life are the result of years of love, resilience, and commitment.

Now, surrounded by the life we have created, we look forward to standing together and saying “I do,” officially beginning the next chapter of our forever.

We are endlessly grateful for our journey so far, and even more excited for everything still to come.
